LIsa Mearkle Obituary
Age 48, of Canton died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012 in Mercy Medical Center following an extended illness. She was born in Canton, Ohio on Dec. 15, 1963 and was of Catholic Faith. Lisa was retired from Canton City WPC in 2010. She was a member of the local breast cancer survivor group.
Survived by her husband of 13 years, Roger L. Mearkle; two stepsons and spouse, Michael and Nikki Mearkle of Buffalo, N.Y., Aaron Mearkle of Norton, Ohio; her mother, Doris Hudas of Canton; her father and stepmother, Ronald and Cathy Hudas of Canfield, Ohio; one sister and brother-in-law, Rhonda and Michael Ross of Circleville, Ohio; one stepbrother, Ronald Hudas of Canfield; two nephews and one niece.
Funeral services will be Monday, Oct. 15, 2012 at 10 a.m. in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. with Fr. Edward Stafford officiating. Interment in West Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Stark County Humane Society, 5100 Peach St. NE, Louisville, OH 44641.

I got to know this lovely lady through work at the City of Canton, she was so fun and has been missed since leaving her position. Now heaven has opened its gates to except her, and God will hold her family in his arms to comfort and learn to go on without her here on earth. She will be the angel making everyone laugh! What a blessing to everyone she touched in her lifetime!
