Lora E. King
Age 87, of North Canton, passed away surrounded by her family on Monday, March 10, 2014, at the Aultman Compassionate Care Center. She was born in Boydsville, Ohio on Dec. 28, 1926, to the late Harry and Amelia Roberts. Lora was retired from Frito Lay. She enjoyed dancing and loved spending time with her family. Lora was a caregiver for many family members, throughout the years.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Milford L. King in 1972; one brother and three sisters. Lora is survived by her daughters, Lois (John) Schilling, of Canal Winchester, Ohio and Lora (Jim) Richards, of Lakeland, Fla.; son, Edward (Rose) Jobes, of Canton, Ohio; grandchildren, Jack Jobes, Becky (Paul) Addington, Jean (Butch) Kinney, Dan (Michelle) Grooms, Jennifer (Clint) Lantz, Brian (Michelle) Schilling, and Pamela Ave; nineteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley DeMartinis, of North Canton, Ohio, and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Aultman Compassionate Care Center for their exceptional loving care given to Lora during her stay.
Per Lora's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2014, at 1 p.m. at the 11th Street Church of God, in Canton, with Pastor Randy Shafer officiating. Ohio Cremation and Professional Services (330-438-1745) Mark R. Vrabel Funeral Home.
