Marjorie Morris Obituary
age 90, of East Canton passed away unexpectedly Sunday February 28, 2021 at her home. She was born December 25, 1930 in Wellsburg, WV to the late James and Leah (Hartley) McDaniel. She was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church in Canton where she was active in many capacities. She was employed by the church for more than 30 years. She was a member of the Stark County Farm Bureau and helped her husband with the family farm on which they resided.
Marjorie is preceded in death by her husband, Jack W. Morris in 2019 to whom she was married 69 years; one son, Jeffrey D. Morris in 1970; one daughter, Deborah L. Repasky in 2015; two brothers, Richard and James Jr. McDaniel; one sister, Eleanor Lauffer. She is survived by her granddaughter, Cynthia Repasky; great-granddaughter, Azelynn Repasky; two step-grandsons, Monte Repasky and Mitch Reeder; niece, Sharon (Bob) Deuley; nephew, Larry (Bonnie) Lauffer; many extended nieces, nephews and family members.
A private family service will be conducted in Christ Presbyterian Church with Rev. David de Vries officiating. Burial will be in Northlawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Camp Wakonda, Morris Memorial Fund at 530 Tuscarawas St W., Canton, OH 44702. Condolences or fond memories may be shared online at www.sandersfuneralhomes.com.

Margie was one of the strongest women that I knew. I first met her over 50 years ago & she survived the loss of both of her children & her husband. She will be missed so much by everyone who knew her, especially Cynthia & Azelynn. Rest easy, Marjorie, & be welcomed by Jeff, Debbie & Jack.
