MARTIN GUBESCH Obituary
91, passed away on January 21, 2019. He was born on January 15, 1928 the son of the late Martin and Roselina Gubesch. He was a member of First Lutheran Church. Martin retired from Paumier Company with 25 years of service. He was a member of The Fraternal Order of Eagles #2370. Martin was also a member of the German-American Arion Singing Society for several years. He enjoyed working outdoors especially in his garden. He was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Gubesch; son, Martin Gubesch Jr.; and brother, Michael Gubesch.
Martin is survived by his loving family, son, Scott (Debbie) Gubesch; daughter, Kathy (James) Omicinski; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; loving brother, John (Bonnie) Gubesch; and special friend, Dorothy Wyles; daughter-in-law, Stella Gubesch; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at the Reed Funeral Home (CANTON CHAPEL) where services will be held at 11:00 a.m., with Amy Downard officiating. Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery. The family invites you to visit: www.reedfuneralhome.com to read the

I meet Martin and his brother Michael when they moved to Ohio from Transylvania. He lived with our family until my father found housing for them. He was a kind and wonderful man.

So sorry to hear about Martin. The last time I saw him was at my brother's Mike Schmidt's funeral.
