Mathilde K. Brewer
Mathilde K. Brewer, 84, of Minerva died Saturday, November 11, 2006 at Mercy Medical Center, following a long illness. Mathilde was born in Nurnberg, Germany, on October 4, 1922, the daughter of the late Otto and Karoline (Flaulweather) Schneider. She was a homemaker and a social member of VFW Post #4120. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Donald Brewer; daughter, Ingebrog Murdock of Shadyside, OH; brother, Karl Schneider of Nurnberg, Germany; grandchildren, Scott & Richard Murdock, Pamela Crum, John Cox, Giselle Marshall; great-grandchildren, Tyler Cox, Dyllon Crum, Natalie Crum, Kyle Crum. Mathilde is preceded in death by her daughter, Helga Cox, brothers, Adolf Schneider, Gustoff Schneider, Willie Schneider and sister, Anna Frubert. Funeral services will be held in the Bartley Funeral Home, Minerva, OH, at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 14, with Pastor Charles Winters officiating. Calling hours will be Tuesday one hour before services. Following cremation burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery.
