Michael Garrett Sr.

El Paso - Michael was born on January 21, 1952, in Chicago Ill, to Hosia and Charlie Mae ( Cannon) Garrett.

Mike served 20 years in the U.S Army. After retiring, Mike continued to serve the military family in AAFES, for 12 years, starting in the computer and tech department, working up to assistant manager of the Fort bliss PX. After this second retirement, and not content to sit still, Mike became a vendor for the Jim Terry Group.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Mona Sims. He is survived by his wife Viola, his sister, Loreta; children Michael K Garrett, Michael Garrett, Rick Steup, Nicole Weidermann, John Garrett, Michael M. Wolff, Jennifer Wolff, and Heather Deisbeck. grandchildren Reggie,Vonalia, Maleek, Destiny, Vanessa, Kristy, and Jeremy ; great grandchild Austin, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mike enjoyed woodworking, building projects, working with computers, hot wheels, traveling with Vi, spending time with family, and especially playing with the children.

The visitation will be held Monday November 23, 2020 from 10am to 12pm at Funeraria Del Angel Restlawn located on 8817 Dyer Street El Paso TX, 79904.






Michael Garrett nació el 21 de enero de 1952 en Chicago, Ill, hijo de Hosia y Charlie Mae (Cannon) Garrett. Mike sirvió 20 años en el ejército de Estados Unidoos. Después de jubilarse, Mike continuó sirviendo a la familia militar en AAFES durante 12 años y comenzando en el departamento de informática y tecnología. Trabajó ahí hasta convertirse en subgerente de Fort Bliss PX. Después de esta segunda jubilación, y no contento con quedarse quieto, Mike se convirtió en vendedor del Grupo Jim Terry. Fue precedido en muerte por sus padres y su hermana Mona Sims. Le sobrevive su esposa Viola, su hermana Loreta; sus hijos Michael K Garrett, Michael Garrett, Rick Steup, Nicole Weidermann, John Garrett, Michael M. Wolff, Jennifer Wolff y Heather Deisbeck. También le quedan sus nietos: Reggie, Vonalia, Maleek, Destiny, Vanessa, Kristy y Jeremy y su bisnieto Austin, y una gran cantidad de sobrinos y sobrinos. Mike disfrutó de la carpintería, proyectos de construcción, trabajar con computadoras, hot wheels, viajar con Vi, pasar tiempo con la familia y especialmente jugar con los niños. El velorio será el lunes 23 de noviembre del 2020 de 10:00 a.m. a 12:00 p.m. en Funeraria Del Angel Restlawn, ubicado en el 8817 Dyer Street El Paso, TX 79904.
