MICHAEL GREGORY Obituary
Michael D. Gregory, age 67, passed on Thursday, July 8, 2021 in Massillon Ohio. He was born on June 13, 1954 in Canton, Ohio to Dr. SW Gregory and Alice Gregory. He was the first African American student to attend the Perry Local Schools in the early 1960s. He graduated from Perry High School and afterwards graduated from Baldwin Wallace University with a major in Business Administration. He worked many years as (! truck driver which allowed him to visit just
about every state, except Hawaii, as well as parts of Canada. Michael was a very easy going person who never argued with anyone. He really enjoyed meeting new people on his trips. He was well known for his friendly demeanor and smile. He enjoyed reading, keeping up with current events, music, and watching all kinds of sports, especially Cleveland Browns, Cavaliers, and Indians. Michael really enjoy laughing and spending time with friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by one brother, Scott D. Gregory of Wooster, Ohio; as well as an uncle, Ronald Gregory of Durham, NC; an aunt,
Inell Lowery of Atlanta, GA; cousins, other relatives, and many friends.
Services will be private.
