Michael Malott Obituary
Michael B. "Mike" Malott, 61, of Canton, died May 10, 2006, in Wade Park Veterans' Hospital of Cleveland following an extended illness. He was born March 19, 1945, in Clarksburg, WV, a son of Denzil L. Malott, Sr. of Dover and the late Cora Lee (Blair) Malott. In addition to his mother, Mike was preceded in death by his daughter, Christina L. Sutton. Mike served honorably in the U.S. Navy from 1963 to 1964. Survivors include his father and "Mom", Florence
Malott of Dover; sons and daughter-in-law, Ssgt. Michael A. and Siomara Malott of Ashtabula and Michael J. Malott of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Victoria and Grace Sutton, Hannah and Evan Malott and Nathaniel Malott; sisters, Jean "Sis" Nelson of Canton with whom he resided, Sherry Fritz of Minerva, and Belinda "Charlie" Carpenter of Magnolia; brothers, Denzil "J.R." Malott, Jr. of Magnolia, Faw Davis of Mineral City, James Davis of Dover and Kevin Davis of New Philadelphia; uncles, William Wiseman of Canton and Taylor Nay of Cambridge as well as numerous other relatives. A private memorial service will be held and interment will be at Ohio Western Reserve National
Cemetery of Rittman at a future date.

To My Mother and all my family who loved Mike, he was my favorite Uncle we shared alot of good times together,all my 29 yrs! So sorry to hear about Mike. You may not remember me. I lived 2 houses away from you on Earl Rd. in Massillon, Oh. Cottrill was our last name. The Brummages lived beside you guys too and the Kellars. My prayers are with you and your family.
