Miriam Atkinson Obituary
age 74, of Jackson Township, died Monday, Aug. 12, 2013 at University Hospital. She was born Dec. 5, 1938 in Macon County, N.C. Miriam enjoyed playing cards, dancing, and other recreational activities, and will be remembered as a wonderful homemaker and an excellent cook.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Flossie Rostonski. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Ronald Atkinson; children, Victoria L. Atkinson of Florida, Kelli L. DiLillo, Ronald E. Atkinson II, and Scott A. Atkinson, all of Canton; grandchildren, Stacy Lambert of Florida and Jessie DiLillo of Massillon; great grandtwins, Joshua and Tatum Lambert; half-sisters, Carol Wagner and Robin Rostonski; and half-brother, Allen Rostonski.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 16, 2013 in the Karlo-Libby Funeral Home. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

Uncle Ron, Victoria, Kelli, Ron II and Scott, my heart is broken for all of you. I loved Miriam from the moment I met her when I was a small child. She was always sweet, warm, kind, lovely and personable toward me. Everytime we spoke on the phone it was a joy and blessing. It is my sincere hope and prayer that as time passes, wonderful memories will sustain you, as well as the sure knowledge when we all reach Heaven, what a reunion we will have! I am grateful to God that her suffering is ended. Please know that my thoughts and prayers will be for and with you for much time to come. With all my love,

Ron ll, so sorry to hear about your mom. My heart goes out to you and your dad. What a shock to hear. I was setting at the pc last night when I got a call telling me about her. I cried remembering the funny things about her. She was always a great listener and story teller. Remember talking for hours with her on the phone back in the day. She made me laught so hard. Again so sorry. My heart goes out to the family. Take care Ron and Mr. Atkinson.
