Nancy McFarland Obituary
McFarland
Age 79, of Canton passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2013. She was born June 28,
1934 in Massillon, Ohio, to the late Melvon and Marie Webler. Nancy graduated from Timken High School where she was a Rockette. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and Little Flower Catholic Church. Nancy was a former Real Estate agent for Smyth Cramer; and was employed with Timken Mercy Hospital for many years. She enjoyed water aerobics and was a great wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many and will be dearly missed by all.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers, Melvon Webler Jr. and John Webler; sisters, Marjorie Cooper and Marilyn Blend. Nancy is survived by her husband of 59 years, Robert; children: Pam Overcasher of Canton, Robert Jr. (Annalee) McFarland of Canton, Michele (Mark) Beard of Canton and John (Cheryl) McFarland of Delaware, Ohio; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, August 4, 2013, in the Reed Funeral Home North Canton Chapel, 801 Pittsburg Ave. N.W., from 3 to 5 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 5, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Little Flower Catholic Church, 2040 Diamond St. N.E., Canton, Ohio 44721, with Rev. Fr. Donald Feicht celebrant. Burial will follow in the Henry Warstler Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Akron Children Hospital. Aunt Nancy was a special person and a great aunt. I will always remember my mom, Aunt Marilyn, and Aunt Nancy laughing together for hours. They were very close and now they are together again. God Bless.
