Nicholas Fuciu Obituary
Nicholas Fuciu Sr, age 90, died Thursday night in Aultman Hospital. He was a life resident of the Canton area. Nicholas retired from Diebold Inc. after 46 years of service. He was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Survived by his wife, Marian Fuciu; daughter, Dr. Denise M. Fuciu of Columbus; two sons and daughters-in-law, Nicholas Jr. and Crystal Fuciu of N. Canton and David and JoAnne Fuciu of Ft. Myers, FL; seven grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Nicholas and Rozetta Fuciu; son, Terrence R. Fuciu in 1993; brother, George Fuciu; a sister, Rosemary Koerber; and two very special friends, Herschel and Bumper. The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses, and staff at Aultman Hospital for their care and concern. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 11:30 A.M. in Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church with Fr. Thomas Crum as Celebrant. Burial will be in North Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 4-7 P.M. at the Lamiell Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Our Lady of Peace Building Fund or a contribution to your local humane society and/or animal shelter. Condolences may be sent to:

i'm very sorry to hear the passing of your husband,father,and grandfather.i really enjoyed when nick,uncle george,and my dad(george martin).would dicuss how canton and surrounding area's.would be before i was born.the knowledge these three fellows,had were fantastic.my thoughts are nick,is now on that special fishing trip.with(uncle george,my dad,and uncle moe(earl martin).in that beautiful lake in heaven..my thoughts and prayers are for your entire family,for your loss.....
