NICK GIAVASIS Obituary
Loving father and Pappou, passed away surrounded by family on Sunday, March 18, 2018, at the age 89. May his memory be eternal.
A celebration of life gathering will be held on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, from 6-8 p.m. at the North Canton Civic Center (845 W. Maple St, North Canton, OH 44720) with a memorial service at 7:00 p.m., officiated by Fr. Daniel M. Rogich. Mark R. Vrabel Funeral Home, North Canton (330-452-4041).

Nick Giavasis , #Dad , #Pappou , with the 1 year Mark approaching so swiftly I want to say again that I Love You More than I could ever put into words . You have been the best father a boy could ever hope for ! You never once judged me as a young man , always stood behind me no matter what path I walked or decision I made in life . I always knew how much my Dad Loved me because you made sure of it , from how you treated me , talked to me and always protected me . I'm so thankful for how you raised me ! You taught me that a man always protects his family , a man always stands up for what is right , he never bullies and never backs down . Because of you I'm never afraid to be the real me no matter what anybody thinks or says . You showed me that you look a man in the eye , have a firm hand shake and always keep your word . To always put family above anything else in this world because that is what truly matters in our short lives. Friends , Jobs , Things , Places all come and go but family is yours for life ! You showed me how to ride a bike , bait a hook , drive a car(at such a young age ) load and shoot a gun , you Told me a gentleman always opens doors for ladies , never to believe what you hear and always be true to myself . You don't rat on your friends , be a stand up man and never be afraid to say how you feel and let people know where you & they stand . I'm so blessed to have you in my life and in my corner for so long dad . I wish you'd have healwd and be here with us another lifetime . God had other plan though I am so very thankful that you've met all 5 of our beautiful children and Thank You for being Such a GREAT PAPPOU , They Adore You so Very Much and They Truly Love Playing cards with you at the dining table or just talking with you about anything They are very blessed to have gotten to know the #BestPappouEver and have made so many loving memories already in their young years . They Love You So Much ! Thank You for Being Such a fantastic , supportive father to their beautiful mommy Marissa also , you really treat her just like your daughter from day one and I truly know it means so much to her to have a Dad like you to love , crack jokes with , nag each other time and again but To Ultimately know a father's love like yours dad .Something she didn't before becoming your daughter!Thank You for being that for Marissa & us, being you and always loving us unconditionally even when we were hard to love ! I hope you know that no matter what you will forever live in our hearts and minds ! We all love & cherish you dad , thank you for being a beautiful man , excellent father , BEST PAPPOU and For Being Such a Good Friend , Provider, Teacher & Protecter to Me my entire life !! I LOVE YOU
