Dear Aunt Tillie, Fred, Bob, and Monica:

I can't begin to tell you how much your dad meant to me, growing up, and the positive influence he had on me. I admired and loved your dad a great deal, and his passing is a deep sorrow felt in my heart, too. I know the Lord has welcomed him home and the wonderful peace he now enjoys with Grandpa & Grandma Westbeld, and our aunts, uncles and cousins in our Westbeld family we have lost over the years. I pray Our Lord guides, protects and comforts you in the days to come.

I'm very sorry for your loss. Mr. Westbeld was our principal at Martin Elementry School. I'll never forget him; he greatly improved the quality of my childhood educational experience by fearlessly putting his foot down on the necks of the bullies. For that, he will always be my hero!
