PATRICIA McELROY Obituary
71, of Canton, passed away on December 8, 2020. She was born on May 26, 1949 in Canton and was the daughter of the late Fannie Marshall. She worked in the packaging department for many years at Hercules Engines. Her greatest passion in life was her family. She was a devoted mother, a loving grandmother, and was very proud to also be a great-grandmother. The greatest thing she gave them all was her time. She adored each and every one of her children and grandchildren. In addition to her family, Patricia also enjoyed her frequent trips to Las Vegas which she planned about once a year.
She will be deeply missed her son, Larry (Chanin) McElroy; her companion, Edsel Kennedy; grandchildren: Bailey, Casey and Kyle; her great-granddaughter, Marie; and her sister, Linda (Babe) Newland. Patricia was also preceded in death by her daughter, Marie Mills; and her siblings: Marge, Lil and Bob.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 15th., from 6-8 p.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Funeral services will be private and burial will take place at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.

We are going to miss Pat beyond words. She was a very special Aunt and we always had fun when we were all together especially at the BINGO Christmas Party’s. I know Marie was waiting for Pat with open arms. We love you!
