PATRICIA SMITH Obituary

Patricia A. Smith

Age 86 of Massillon, formally of Canton, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 22, 2018 with family by her side. She was born in Canton on April 15, 1932 to the late Ernest and Leedith (Blackard) Evans. She was a 1950 graduate of Timken Vocational High School. Patricia was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who always put her family first.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Paul M. Smith in 2016; brothers, Gerald Evans, Lester Evans, William Evans, Donald Evans, Junior Evans and Robert Evans. Patricia is survived by her children, James (Jeanie) Smith, Shelly (Daniel) Heidy, and Mark Smith; grandchildren, Nicole Hoover, Dustin Smith, Kevin (Shawna) Smith, Emily Hale; great-grandchildren, Harmony Smiley, Joshua Smith, Anthony Smith and Mylee Smith; and special helper, Clay Smiley.

There are no calling hours and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Mark R. Vrabel Funeral Home, North Canton, Ohio 330-452-4041.
