Paul Eick Obituary
age 78 of Minerva passed away Thursday April
14, 2016 at the Autumn Hills Care Center in Niles. He was born June 16, 1937 in Hibbits to David and Gladys (Moffett) Eick. Paul was a farmer and retired from PCC Airfoils in Minerva. He was married to Florence Elizabeth Eick and she passed away May 31, 1996. He graduated from Carrollton High School . Paul was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church in Minerva. He was a 4 - H Alumni member. An Advisor for the Brown Frame Roundup 4- H. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and helping the Youth 4 H Clubs. Paul and Florence enjoyed bowling. He is a U. S. Army veteran.
He is survived by a son Rick (Chris) Eick , a daughter Deborah Eick both of Carrollton and a daughter Kitty Eick of Canton; two brothers, Tom Eick of Malvern and Carl (Vickie) Eick of Carrollton; one sister Margaret (Jess) Roof also of Carrollton; three grandchildren, Sabriana (Richard) Eick - Popadak of Paris, Kenneth Eick and David Eick both of Carrollton. Preceding him in death was his parents, a daughter Katherine Eick who died Aug. 1961, three brothers, Donald , Ralph and William and three sisters, Mary Leach, Helen Dawson and Mabel Hahn.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, April 19, 2016 from noon to two p.m. at the Allmon- Dugger -Cotton Funeral Home . The funeral will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor John Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. In lieu flowers contributions may be given to any of the following charities the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church; Friendly Circle Caretakers of the Brown Frame Community Building; Carrollton FFA Alumni or the Carroll County 4 H Club.

Got to meet Paul when he was at Carroll Health care at the same time my mother was there for rehab for a month. Enjoyed sitting down and talking to Paul and hearing about his life. Sorry to hear of your loss.
