Raymond Sever Obituary
"Together Again"
age 89, passed away on March 27, 2016. He was born Oct. 9, 1926 in Cleveland to the late Frank and Mary Sever. Raymond was a 1944 graduate of Holy Name High School in Cleveland, a Veteran of the U.S. Navy, and a member of the North Canton Elks, where he was the Former Exalted Ruler. He enjoyed playing golf and watching sports. In addition to his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Alberta, in 2014; daughter-in-law, Patricia; and brother, Robert Sever.
Raymond is survived by his five children: Sandra (Michael) D'Orazio, JoAnne (Jeff) Johnson, Raymond Sever, Leah (Tom) Castellaneta, and Kathy (Bill) Motter; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Beatrice Miller and Mary Lou (Ed) Warren; and brother, Frank Sever.
Visitation will be on Friday, April 1, 2016 from 4-7 p.m. in Reed Funeral Home NORTH CANTON Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 10 a.m. in St. Paul's Catholic Church in North Canton with Rev. Fr. Daniel Finnerty as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Catholic Church, 241 S. Main St., North Canton, OH 44720.
