I was touched to learn of Dick's passing. I knew Dick when I was a teen-ager in the 1960s; he was a friend of my Dad's (Robert Limbach, DDS) in Massillon, when Dick worked at the Surplus Center. I always enjoyed Dick and got a kick out of him. He used to help out at our mink farm near North Lawrence. I strongly remember him singing the polka, "Just Because" a lot. I hadn't known that he played acoutic bass - I am sorry that I missed out on that! I remember his fast talk calling out the "WKBN. . .", his stutter and his laugh. I hadn't thought of Dick in years until my sister sent the obituary notice yesterday and it touched my heart. I will remember Dick in my prayers and carry his memory with me.
