Rita Steigerwald Obituary

Rita M. Steigerwald 2016
age 87, of Canton, died Saturday in Country Lawn Nursing Home of Navarre. Born in Canton she was the daughter of the late Charles and Alice Mohn. She was a 1949 graduate of Lehman High School, retired from Dr. Kline MD as the office manager, and was a member of the Basilica of Saint John the Baptist. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Steigerwald; sister, Alma Miller and sister-in-law, Mary Ann Steigerwald.
She is survived by her brother, John Steigerwald of Canton; sister, June (Al) Melaragno of Miami Springs, Fla., brother-in-law, Joseph Miller of Lamy, N.M.; several nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian burial will be Thursday at 10:00 a.m., in the Basilica of St. John the Baptist with the Fr. Edward L. Beneleit as celebrant. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. in the Basilica. The Wackerly Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
