Robert L. Bellinski 1929-2016
“Together Again”
age 87, of Canton, died Tuesday morning in Aultman Hospital following an extended illness. A life resident of Canton he was the son of the late Frederick and Cali (Fox) Bellinski, was a 1945 graduate of McKinley High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Bob retired from U.S. Steel in 1982, was a member of Christ the Servant Catholic Parish and the Canton Eagles.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Bellinski in 2011; son, Robert W. Bellinski in 1997 and several brothers. He is survived by his granddaughter, Angela (Mike) Bellinski-Price of Canton; daughter-in-law, Sheryl Bellinski of N. Canton; nephews, Danny, Timmy; nieces, Patricia “Tish”, Linda, Toni-Jean and Sandy.
Mass of Christian burial will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. in Christ the Servant Catholic Parish Church with Msgr. Lewis F. Gaetano as celebrant. Burial with military honors will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Wackerly Funeral Home. Donations may be made in his name to the to the Willow Lane Memory Care Program, 4550 Hills & Dales Rd NW, Canton, Ohio 44708.
