Robert Cebulko Obituary
1948-2014, age 66, St. Joseph, Missouri died Friday, Dec. 19, 2014 at Mosaic Life Care. He was born Nov. 22, 1948 to Edward and Olga (Volk) Cebulko in Canton, Ohio. Robert married Diane Bender June 13, 1970. She preceded him in death Dec. 5, 1993. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and his life revolved around his grandchildren and attending their activities.
Robert was also preceded in death by his son, Craig Cebulko; and father. Survived by his daughter, Christine Eivins (Jon) of St. Joseph, Mo.; mother, Olga Cebulko of Massillon, Ohio; sister, Elaine Jones (James) of Henderson, Nev.; brothers, Edward Cebulko (Judy) of Henderson, Nevada and Ken Cebulko (Patty), Canton, Ohio; granddaughter, Caitlin Eivins; grandsons, Tyler, Jacob, Nicholas and Lucas Cebulko; and Joshua Eivins; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment Mount Olivet Cemetery. Parish Rosary 6 p.m. Sunday at Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory, St. Joseph, Mo. The family will gather with friends 6:30 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Online guest book and obituary at www.meierhoffer.com.

To The Cebulko Family:
I am very sorry to hear of your loss. Bob and I graduated in the same class at Central Catholic. Though we didn't really know each other, I did speak to him a few times when he was with Diane.
When I did see Bob at school, he had that same smile as in this photo. He always seemed to be a happy person. That memory must be a good one for all of you and I hope it sustains you in your time of grief.
Diane and I were in classes together over those four years and, at this sad time of losing your father and remembering him, to their chilidren, I would like to say, also, your mother was a kind, funny, intelligent person. She and your dad always seemed like a great match.
After talking with her at our class reunion in 1981, I wasn't surprised when I found her to be that same lovely young woman she had been 15 years earlier in high school. Actually, whenever I remember that reunion, it is my conversation with her that is the highlight of that night. Years later, I was saddened to learn of her death.
I offer all of Bob's family my prayers and condolences.
