Rocco Weida Memoriam
age 54, passed away Friday, Jan. 28, 2011. Rock (retired) and his family own and operate Canton Gear Mfg and Design.
Survived by his wife, Susan Weida; son, Dustin Weida; sister, Barbara Bettis; three nieces, Ashley, Ana and Elizabeth Bettis; brother, Matthew (Becky) Weida; nephew, Kenny Weida. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Antoinette Weida.
Private services are being held at the convenience of the family. Mass of Intention will be Feb. 13, 9:30 pm at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Oxford, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dustin, who will be cycling in the Pan Ohio Ride from Cleveland to Cincinnati in July, to raise money for the American Cancer Society in memory of Rocco. So saddened by this news. Rocky & Susan were always so nice to me. To Susan, Dustin, Barb & Matt my heart goes out to you all. May you find peace in these dark days. The world is defintiely smaller & darker with out a great man like Rocky in it. He will be missed by all who knew him.
