Our loving mother Rosetta Ballard went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 28, 2016 after an extended illness. Rosetta was the seam that kept the family together. She provided excellent hospitality to all who enter her home. Rosetta was the neighborhood mother. She loved her grandkids to the fullest. Rosetta loved cooking and was always on the fishing bank. She will be truly missed and never forgotten. She was preceded in death by her parents Eddie Lee and Rosa Lee Hall; brothers, Eddie B. Hall, Joe L. Hall, Willie Hall, Jr., James L. Hall; sister, Annie Mary Hall and special grandson Devon Merriweather. She leaves to cherish her memories; (2) siblings, James Garfield Hall, Carolyn Hall-Felder (Eugene “Junebug”Felder); she leaves to mourn (5) surviving children, Vernard Hall, Jessie Ballard, Sharon Ballard, Sabrina Ballard all of Canton, Ohio and Angelis Weems of Columbus, Ohio; husband, Johnny Davis and special friend Nathaniel Gadson as well as a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, friends and family. Services will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 11am, Rhoden Memorial Home, 729 Cherry Ave. N.E., Canton, Ohio 44702. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.
