Sherren Zakari Obituary

Sherren (Barssom) Zakari

age 44, of Canton, went to her eternal home to be with the Lord on July 16, 2020. She was born in Cairo, Egypt to Wafik and Louiza Barssom, on Sept. 10, 1975. She was a woman of God who would inspire others to live by faith. Her love for the Lord Jesus was rock solid and unshakable; it got her through the stressful times. Sherren was a fierce warrior, who lived a life full of faith. She went home to the Lord with her head held high.

She will be dearly missed by her husband, Adel Zakari and children, Daniel and Kate Zakari. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Abraham at the Cleveland Clinic as well as the 5 Main Nursing Floor and doctors at Mercy Hospital who were involved in her care.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Mercy Hospital. Due to the recent health crisis, services will be private for family and friends. For those wishing to send online condolences please visit www.reedfuneralhome.com.

Dr. Zakari,

I just recently heard this very sad news of Sherren´s passing. I am so very sorry. She was always such a ray of sunshine & I always looked forward to seeing you both. My prayers are with you & your children. She always lit up when she spoke of her beautiful family. I am so grateful I had the privilege of knowing her. God Bless you all

Dr. Zakari, Daniel and Kate,

I am so sorry for the loss of such a beautiful wife and mother. I was blessed to have met her through Daniel in 6th grade and knew immediately what a kind and caring soul she had.
Daniel and Kate your mother and father have taught you to walk in their path of being wonderful and kind and you do so everyday with your smiles and thoughtfulness. Your mother was so proud of you, I could see it in her smile as well-treasure that daily!!
I pray that you will find peace in knowing that she is in Gods care and you will be with her again one day.
Find joy in remembering the happiness you shared as a family.
May Gods peace find you today and always,

Lori Bly and family

Dr Zakari, Daniel and Kate,

I am so terribly sorry for your loss. Mrs Zakari was a wonderful person. I was Kate's teacher at the Goddard school and recall Mrs Zakari as a wonderful, living and involved mother. She was always willing to help in any way possible. She always lit up with pride when it came to Daniel and Kate. The world has lost a truly wonderful person. May God bring you peace.

Love,
Heather Popovich
