Stella Cooley Obituary
Stella K. Cooley, age 110, of Canton, passed away Monday June 23, 2008 in Mercy Medical Center. She was born November 6, 1897 in Johnstown, PA. to the late John and Rose (Hessler) Heider. Stella was a Canton resident since 1929. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Cooley in 1965; one son, Eugene Hess; one daughter, Shirley Yeager. She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Velma Barker of Canton, Mary and Joseph Palombo of Canton; 14 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Thursday June 26, 2008 at 11:00am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Fr. Thomas Bishop officiating. Interment in Melscheimer Cemetery. Friends may call one hour before services on Thursday (10-11am). Condolences or fond memories may be shared online at www.sandersfuneralhomes.com.

I am very sorry for your loss. Stella brought alot of laughs to family/friends and those of us who had the pleasure of caring for her. I certainly won't forget her.
