Dear Jackie and Jennifer,
My thoughts and prayers are with you two precious girls at this most difficult time. Your mother and I were good friends throughout junior high and high school, and kept in touch from time to time throughout the years, but sadly, not so much recently. Our most recent contact took place last November, and I was terribly saddened to hear of her illness, and all that she was forced to endure for so many years. It's difficult for me to reconcile her passing, because she was one of the most fun-loving, vibrant, vivacious people I have ever known. She had a personality and a zest for life that could not be contained, and a smile with enough spark to light up a room. One of the things I remember and love most about your mom is the way she could laugh until she cried. It was a “given”, when “Bambi” started laughing that tears were never far behind. She loved to laugh, and she shared that gift of laughter with so many. I will never forget her. May God bless and keep you both.
