Remembering my relationship with Steve today, brings both smiles and tears. Steve was one of my favorite people to work with, he always provided sound thought to our discussions and I could trust his advice and support. The tears, Steve loved life, family and friends and he is one guy who should have had more time to enjoy those things that were important to him.
God Bless,
Tom Humphries

I am so sad to hear this news. I had the great privilege and honor of working closely with Steve while I was at the Northeast Ohio Medical University. We worked on many projects and programs together to link the community and healthcare systems with research happening at NEOMED and to develop ways to support healthcare professionals who were trying to come up with new innovations and start companies. Steve's vision and energy and positive attitude was infectious and I loved being around him. And he was so dedicated to the community in Canton and the surrounding area. I was a better person for having worked with Steve. I want to offer my deepest condolences to the family and friends of Steve. You should know that he has a left a mark on the region and all of us that will last forever.
