Terry Eakle Obituary
68, of Canton, formerly of Bergholz, passed away Tuesday, July 31st, at his residence. Born on Jan. 9, 1950, a son of the late Charles and Emogene (Finn) Eakle, also preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Eakle Jr, Jack Eakle; and niece, Rachael Palmer. Served in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict as a PFC.
Besides his wife of 35 years, Sandra K. (Huntsman) Eakle, he is survived by step daughter Tina (Charles) Spielman, of Canton; two step sons, Leejay Dickinson, of Cleveland, Ronald B. Dickinson; sister, Michelle Palmer; brother, Michael Eakle; granddaughter, Shawna Frazee; great-grandchildren, Leahnah Shuman, Brandon Shuman Jr, all of Canton; many niece; nephews; loving family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4th in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home with Pastor Lisa Elliot officiating. Friends may call 2 hours prior to services. You may add your condolences on our website:www.waltner-simchak.com.

To Sandy and the remaining Eakle family. I am so sorry for your loss. I am also sorry that I wasn't able to attend Terry's services. I held Chuck's services and attended the memorial services for Jack. Terry meant a lot to me but I was just unable to attend. Thoughts and prayers will always be with you. I grew up with Terry in Bergholz Ohio We played Baseball in town
Terry went to Vietnam his tour of duty was just about over He heard I was on firebase Jack outside of camp Evans Terry came out to see me I couldn't believe it what a great feeling that was He told me he's leaving for the World (home) in a couple days He said to me you better make it back I Promise you l'll be the first one you see when you get off the plane Terry was a man of his word he was there i'll Miss you my Brother Forever Rest In Peace

I grew up with Terry went to school together played Baseball he was a good man Terry hook up with me in Vietnam he was leaving for the World (Home) He told me you better make back and I will be the first person you see when you get off the plane and He Was He was a man of his word You Rest In Peace my Brother n My Friend So sorry for your loss Sandy n Family.
