Thomas Haney Obituary
76, of Moon Township, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family after a long battle with cancer on Saturday, April 29, 2017. Born Oct. 13, 1940 in Canton, Ohio, son of the late Nelson and Evelyn (Booth) Haney; beloved husband for 51 years to Diane (Huffman) Haney; father of Sean Thomas (Monica), Mark Hilary (Sue-Mei), Teresa Harkey (Patrick); grandfather of Thomas, Noah, Carrie, Marion and Kevin and survived by many loving cousins. He received his BS from the Ohio State University and his MBA from Montclair State University. He was a veteran of the Army and was a Food Scientist Technologist and a member of Ken Mawr United Presbyterian Church.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday May 13, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Ken Mawr United Presbyterian Church in McKees Rocks, Pa. In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society, the Animal Care Society of Louisville, KY or the Ken Mawr Presbyterian Church in Toms memory.
