Thomas Propst Obituary
78, of Sutton, WV went to his heavenly home on Saturday, April 28, 2018. He was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, pastor, and friend.
He was the Pastor of Zion Pentecostal Church of God in Sutton, WV. He loved ministering God's love through scripture and music. He leaves a legacy of his strong faith and love of the Lord. He walked by faith, in the path of righteousness, and now is in heaven's rest.
Tom is preceded in death by his father, James H. Propst and mother, Nora Luzader Propst; brothers, Henry R. Propst, Charles Lee Propst, John Wesley Propst; sisters, Sally Haag, Mary Jane McDermott, and Olga Ruth Wallace.
He is survived by his sons, Tommy Propst, Jr., John Propst, Earl Propst, Jimmy (Libby) Propst, Richard (Christina) Propst and David (Brittany) Propst; sister, Lillian Brown; grandchildren, Erica Strickland and Zoey Propst; great-grandchildren, Lily-Ann Strickland and James Strickland Jr.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon, Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Zion Pentecostal Church of God (Bug Ridge) Sutton, WV with Rev. Robert Swiggert officiating with calling hours at 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Braxton Memorial Cemetery, Airport Rd. Sutton. Friends may call 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Greene-Robertson Funeral Home, Sutton WV. Greene-Robertson Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Propst family. Enjoyed his presence at the BCSC Bible Study on Tuesdays and the sound of him singing in the background before lunch. Prayers going out to the family at this time.

My family and i loved Bro Tom. We sang at his church, and was in many services with him and his brother Hank. My father and Tom were good friends before either one of them started to preach. God bless his family, he was a great man of god. Mike Riffle, and family.

Brother Tom was a great man of God..When n what he preached he lived. He will be missed by a lot of people. I loved to hear him preach n sing, n how the Holy Ghost moved in the service, I remember the last song he sang at our church something bout Children Go tell your Children's Children. Won't be long we will be there to join him n our loved ones. Prayers for the family,and Brother Bob Swiger.

What a great man of God. Nothing but the utmost respect for him! A lot of memories at Zion in Richville,Ohio. Wish I coulda seen him more often. He was always there when we needed him. Such a blessing to me! No one in this world will ever take his place! He has a special place in my heart and mind forever! It's a privelage to have known you! Thank you for all you have instilled in me! ❤
