Thomas Wareham Obituary
69, of Warren, Ohio, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and close friends Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2016, at the Cleveland Clinic. He was born May 12, 1947 in Warren, Ohio, the son of the late Rolland N. and Francis (Lerch) Wareham.
He was a graduate of Howland High School and Kent State University with his Bachelor's Degree in Marketing. Thomas worked in sales at United Telephone Company and Sprint United. He also was the owner of This Old Boat Marine Surveying Company. Thomas was a member of the Rotary Club of Warren, past member of the Cortland Conservation Club and a member of SAMS (Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors). As a young man, he participated in the Warren Soapbox Derby. Thomas was also a veteran of the United States Coast Guard serving during the Vietnam era. He was a true gentleman, kind-hearted and loved his family.
Thomas' memory will be cherished by his loving daughters, Carrie (Bobby) Wareham Johnson and Lisa Wareham; brother, Richard A. (Norma) Wareham; his granddaughter, Brittan; his beloved aunt and uncle; many dear cousins, nephew and nieces and many life long friends, including George Thompson and family. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16, 2016, at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home in Warren. Friends may call two hours prior to the service from 12 to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in memory of Thomas Wareham to Cleveland Clinic PO Box 931517 Cleveland, Ohio 44101-8713 for brain tumor research.
