Tina Munoz Obituary
Age 91 of Massillon, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2017 surrounded by family and loved ones. She was born October 30, 1926 in Havana, Cuba daughter of the late Julian and Francisca (Cardoso) Lopez. She resided in Detroit until marrying her late husband, Frank "Kiko" Munoz then moving to Massillon. She was a volunteer at Massillon Community Hospital for a number of years and along with her husband owned Kiko's Bar on the West Side. Neighbors, family and friends prospered from her kindness and generosity.
Tina is survived by her daughters, Paula (Rick) Russ of Massillon and Nancy Munoz of Clearwater, Fla.; grandchildren, Michael (Emily) Russ of Tipp City, Ohio and Stacy Russ of Massillon; great-grandsons, Hudson and Gavin and expected great-granddaughter, Hadley; cousins, Ana Alvarez of Ft. Pierce, Fla. and Theresa Mayor of Massillon; numerous cousins and extended family. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Julian "Chichi" Munoz.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, December 3, 2017 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Heitger Funeral Home - Massillon Chapel 639 First St. N.E., Massillon. Funeral services will follow beginning at 4 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Crossroads Hospice, 3743 Boettler Oaks Drive Ste. E., Green, OH 44685-6227. Please leave condolences at www.heitger.com.
