Virginia Mustacchio Obituary

Virginia (Ginny) K. Mustacchio 1926-2016

“Together Again”

passed away on Jan. 29, 2016 after an extended illness. Ginny was born on Sept. 17, 1926 in Louisville, Ohio to the late Felix and Mollie (Ruppel) Dimmerling.
She was preceded in death by her husband, and love of her life, Sam Mustacchio. In addition to her parents and husband, Ginny was also preceded in death by her brothers, Virgil Dimmerling (nephew Larry Dimmerling) and Vincent Dimmerling and her sisters, Vera Hartman, Vernola Meek (nephew Ronald Berger) and Velma McKimm (nephew Michael Mckimm). Ginny is survived by her sister, Vivian Metzger and her nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly, Greg (Debbie) Metzger (Christopher Metzger and Stephanie Metzger), Jeff (Beth Ann) Metzger (Sterling Metzger, AnaLeigh Metzger and her ‘little buddy', Cayla Metzger), Terry McKimm (Mollie Chmielewski, Meghann Mckimm, Marisa Mckimm and Mallory Mckimm), Hali (Sid) Wilde (Seth Wilde and Owen Wilde), Rebecca McKimm (Caitlin Ovian, Analyse Ovian and Emily Ovian-Kwiat), Tom (Nancy) McKimm (Chad Mckimm and Chelsea Mckimm), Ann (Leroy) Haidet (Denise Siegfried, Renee Wilcox, Bryan Haidet and Lori Jensen). Other nieces and nephews include, James Dimmerling and Denny Dimmerling, and James Dimmerling and John Dimmerling.
A graduate of Louisville High School, Ginny worked for many years at the Bortz Pharmacy and the Westwood Wine Shoppe both in Louisville. She enjoyed and appreciated the company of her family and friends spending countless hours with them. She was a bright spot and added a spark of humor to every gathering. Ginny's friendly demeanor, lighthearted spirit and love of Euchre together with her appreciation for having fun made her an object of many wonderful memories for her family and friends. Her delight in the simple things made her a joy to be with. She is greatly loved and will be missed by many.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to Ann Haidet, Leroy Haidet, Beverly Barnes, the staff at Heritage Villas assisted living facility and the staff at Woodlawn's Compassionate Care Center for providing loving care and help for Ginny during the last years and days of her life. Private services have been held and Ginny was laid to rest in St. Louis Parish Cemetery. Arrangements were at the direction of the Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home of Louisville.

Our sympathy to the family and friends of Ginny...her and Sam are now together. They were an awesome couple, lots of fun and I have great memories of them when we bowled together years ago. Their love for each other shone around them, and they were such an inspiration. With Deepest Sympathy.
