Marion Mabel Brooks

Brooks, Marion Mabel A resident of St. Gabriel, she died about 7 a.m. Wednesday, July 5, 2006, at her home. She was 70. Visiting at First Mount Carmel Baptist Church, St. Gabriel, on Friday, July 7, from 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m., conducted by Rev. Riley Harbor Jr. Burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by her three stepdaughters; two stepsons; sisters; daughterly cousin, Ophelia Williams and husband Floyd; two brothers, Willie J. Brooks and wife Brenda of Sunshine and Donald Brooks and wife Sylverine of Oakland, Calif.; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, many friends and family members. Preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Emma S. Brooks; husband, Lionel Smart Sr.; sister, JoAnn Dellihue; and parents, James and Georgia Brooks. Arrangements by Hall Davis & Son Funeral Service.
