Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Monday Aug. 4, 2014, at the Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel. Family and friends may visit on Sunday, Aug. 3, 2014, from 3-6 p.m., with a Masonic Service at 6 p.m. Entombment will take place at Forest Hill Cemetery with a Veterans Service at the Mausoleum.

I am so sorry for your loss. I have heard many great stories about Bill from dad over the years! I also had the pleasure of working with him when I first started at Timken! He was so funny and a great guy! He will be missed!

I worked with Bill at Timken for years....having offices next to each other. Our mutual daily greeting was always "Morning Neighbor". He was a great guy......"Rest in Peace, Neighbor"

Having just learned of Bill's passing, words cannot express the sorrow I feel. During the decades I have known Bill, he was always a man of character and goodwill. His legacy of compassion is clear.

I had the pleasure of meeting this wonderful man through my grandparents (James and Pearline Parker) that lived across the street from him. Always the kindest person to both me and my family. He will be missed and certainly will never be forgotten. May God Bless and keep the Family.

Dear Sandy & Family,
Bill will always be very special to us. He brought so much laughter and joy into our family. He was a proud Marine and lived life to the fullest. He had a way about him that always made you feel good. We were so blessed to have Bill as our next door neighbor. Bill especially loved his family more than anything. He always shared stories about his children and grandchildren and referenced his wife as his “beautiful bride”. We are so sorry for your loss and are keeping all of you in our thoughts and prayers.
