Willis Gordon Obituary
Willis R. Gordon, 84, of Malvern, OH, died Monday, October 9, 2006 in his home. Willis was born in Summerfield, OH, on June 22, 1922, the son of the late Ben and Gayle (King) Gordon. He was a Democratic Party member. He retired as Superintendent of Carroll County Garage ODOT. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Viola (VonGunten) Gordon; sons, Fred (Gloria) Gordon of Waynesburg, Jay Gordon of Malvern; daughter, Carol (Benny) Wright of Kensington; 10 grandchildren, Benny Wright, Tim (Heather) Wright, Mark (Chastity) Gordon, Craig (Leslie) Gordon, Charles and Michelle (Gordon) Miller, James and Nichole (Gordon) Coy, Jason Gordon, Josh Gordon, Jennifer Knight, Troy Knight; and nine great grandchildren; sisters, Nellie Wells and Evelena Koch. He is preceded in death by daughter, Sandra Knight; and sister, Jessie Powell. Funeral services will be held at the Deckman Bartley Funeral Home, Malvern, at 11 a.m. on Friday, with Rev. Allen Hill officiating. Calling hours will be Thursday, October 12th., 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Deckman- Bartley Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery.
