Adriana Ramirez Obituary

RAMIREZ, ADRIANA DE LOS ANGELES (Nena), 78, of Millersville and previously of Glen Burnie, passed away on April 12, 2011 after a stroke. Adriana was born in Camaquay, Cuba in 1932. She attended the University of Havana where she earned a Doctorate of Philosophy & Letters. Her hobbies included spending time with her grandchildren, scrapbooking, genealogy, doing arts & crafts and cooking. She was the cherished wife of 57 years of Jorge B. Ramirez; devoted mother of Adriana Peroutka, Jorge M. Ramirez, MD, Rosa Maria Kestler and Peter Ramirez, MD; loving grandmother of Adriana & Richard Peroutka, Andrea Bravo, Jorge Jose Ramirez, Ryan & Samantha Dupaya, Edward & Alexander Kestler, and Christine, Michael, Matthew & Nicholas Ramirez; dear sister of Miguel Garces, Lucrecia Guitian, and sister-in-law of Martha Marafioti.

Arrangements were made at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services (Glen Burnie). Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to Child Fund International, 2821 Emerywood Pkwy, Richmond, VA 23294. For further information, please visit www.singletonfuneralhome.com
