Anthony Duncan Harding
Wilbur, 74, died March 2 at his residence in Spotsylvania, VA.
He was born on December 30, 1937, the son of the late Harding and Ruth (Hunter) Wilbur. He was a retired Colonel in the U.S. Air Force. Col Wilbur attended Phillips Exeter Academy, Harvard University, and the University of Albuquerque. He received an MBA from the University of Denver.
During his career in the Air Force, Tony served as a navigator at McGuire AF Base, NJ; flew the RB-57F for high altitude air sampling at Kirtland AFB, Albuquerque, NM; served a SE Asian assignment in Taiwan; worked as a comptroller at Offutt AFB, Omaha, NE; attended Air War College in Montgomery, AL; and retired after serving in the Office of the Comptroller at the Pentagon, Arlington, VA. Tony built everything from radios, stereos and telescopes to computers. He also enjoyed sailing, kayaking, photography, shooting, and the stock market.
Col Wilbur is survived by his wife of 48 years, Judith B. Wilbur; his two daughters, Andy Wilbur Remeis and her husband Paul, of Boise, ID and Karen Wilbur Penafiel of Centreville, VA; four grandchildren, Jesse Remeis and Tony, William and Carmen Penafiel; his brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Diane Wilbur of Washington, DC and their daughters, Alwynne Wilbur and Kendall McCumber.
Funeral services will be conducted at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.

I knew Lt Col Tony Wilbur because he worked for my boss, Col Kane, at the Pentagon.
