Barbara Ann Gretz

1941 - 2024

Barbara Ann Gretz of Naples, Florida and previously Arnold, Maryland passed away peacefully with family on Monday October 14, 2024. She was 83 years old. She was born in 1941 in Washington DC and graduated from St. Patrick's Academy in 1958. She worked as an administrative assistant at both the University of Maryland and the Federal Reserve Board. She loved spending time with family and friends as well as traveling. Barbara the loving mother of Richard D. Gretz and his wife Kim, Joseph M. Gretz, Raymond C. Gretz and his wife Gail; Grandmother of Nicholas, Spencer, Kayla, and Krista. Cherished sibling of Richard Barnard, Thomas Barnard and his wife Kathy, Susan Barnard, James Barnard and his wife Jeanne, Janice Boggs and her husband Jeff, Mary Barnard and her husband Craig, Kathy Barnard and her husband Rick. She was preceded in death by her parents Richard & Mary Genevieve Barnard, her sister Margaret Hampton and Margret's husband Walter Hampton. A funeral mass is scheduled for 10:30 AM on February 22, 2025 at St. John Neuman Church in Annapolis, Maryland.
