Carole McMorrow Obituary

Annapolis resident Carole Ruth (Wilson) McMorrow, passed peacefully in her home on May 11, 2020. She was born in Washington, D.C. on October 9, 1934, the third child of Esther Madeline (Mack) Wilson and Harold Wilson. In 1956, she married Robert Gilmore McMorrow, who predeceased her in 2019. Carole had a true gusto for life, a strong Christian faith, beautiful friendships, a complete passion for scuba diving, and a gift for the gab. She delivered Meals on Wheels for over 35 years, and donations in lieu of flowers would be accepted with gratitude. Carole is survived by her five children, Robert Jr., Roger, Ronald, Raymond, and Janice McMorrow and four grandchildren Ronald and Katherine McMorrow and Chloe and Nathaniel Sinn. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.

Our condolences go the McMorrow family. Mrs McMorrow gave inspiration, much love and guidance to many, especially to her children and close friends. Well before I moved to the Gulf coast in 1989 when I was teenager and young adult I remember the trust and support she gave me during hard times. She was like the mom up the road. Later in my life as an adult with teenagers and young adults I sometimes refer back to those times for proper guidance. Unfortunately, in my later years I didnt make it back to my hometown much because of my essential position with the Fed Govt and needs for my immediate family here. Ive always regretted this because she was always on top of the list for people to see. May she Rest In Peace and God look over her soul for eternity. Eric Esbensen and family.
