Lydia was brilliant, tenacious, and kind (although could be salty!). She was a true role model, and I am so thankful that she was my aunt.

Lydia was a longtime friend and one of the two founders of our spirituality group called Circled of Women's Spirituality (aka Holy Cows). As well-educated as she was, she was also unassuming and modest about her accomplishments. She was a woman of courage who fought the good fight against the ravages of Parkinson's Disease. May she rest in peace.

I remember Lydia from St. Mary´s High School in Jersey City. Even then she was exceptionally brilliant but was always a kind and caring individual. Of course we lost touch and people did wonder about where she was at the few reunions we had . May she rest in God´s eternal
Peace .

Lydia was a brilliant woman. Genetics was her field and she taught classes all over the country at Medical Schools.
She was the bravest woman I ever knew. Not letting Parkinson´s stop her. She fought so hard and tried every possible way to keep on going.
But Parkinson´s wins every time!
Goodby my dear, brave friend. You will be greatly missed.

Dear Nancy,

Please accept my heartfelt condolences on Lydia´s passing. I was deeply saddened to hear of her loss. Having known Lydia these past years, I feel grateful to have spent time with her, and I know she is now at peace. I can so easily picture her with that warm, familiar smile.

You, Lydia, and all who loved her are very much in my thoughts.

Warmly,
Michael
