Daniel "Dan" Francis Lynch III, age 60, of
Baltimore, Maryland, passed away comfortably at home on Wednesday, November 8, 2023. Dan was born on July 31, 1963, to Daniel Francis Lynch Jr. and Judith Lezotte Lynch in
Waterbury, Connecticut. His family were prominent members of the community, where his grandfather was the proud owner of Wolcott Tool & Manufacturing Corporation. Dan was a graduate of Holy Cross High School in
Waterbury, Connecticut. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1985 from Catholic University of America in
Washington, D.C., where he was on the Dean's list, a Class Representative, and a contributing writer for the Student Government Newspaper. He later received his Juris Doctorate in 1989 from Catholic University of America School of Law. Dan excelled in his legal career as a partner in the former Law Firm Knight, Manzi, Nussbaum and LaPlaca, P.A. for twenty years. Dan joined the prominent law firm of McNamee Hosea, P.A. as a partner in 2011, where he continued to find incredible success in his Land Use, Zoning, and Real Estate Development practice. Dan practiced law for more than 33 years, assisting local, regional and national clients throughout the state of Maryland. Dan was also a member of the Prince George's County Bar Association, previously serving as Co-Chairman of the Administrative Law Committee. Dan's fondest childhood memories were summers spent at the beach in
Madison, Connecticut, where his love of the ocean and sailing began. Dan shared his love of the ocean with his wife, Jennifer "Jen" White at their vacation home in
Ocean City, Maryland. Dan met his beloved wife in
Annapolis, Maryland where their relationship flourished. They later moved to
Baltimore, Maryland. In recent years, Dan and Jen built memories on the Maryland shores, where they spent countless hours listening to Bossa nova, Frank Sinatra, and Jack Johnson on their balcony, while watching the waves. Dan was predeceased by his father, Daniel Jr, his paternal grandparents, Daniel Sr. and Loretta Lynch and maternal grandparents, James and Mable Lezotte. He is survived by his wife, his mother, his siblings Jeffrey (Liz), Julie (Leo), and Jim (Kim). He is also survived by his three cherished sons and stepdaughter, Danny (fiancé Anabelle Barnett), Colin (Meryll), Christopher, and Katelyn White, as well as, his granddaughter, Raegan, who affectionally called him "GranDan." Dan will always be remembered for loving his family more than the world. They will deeply miss him. A visitation will be held at the John M. Taylor Funeral Home 147 Duke of Gloucester Street,
Annapolis, MD 21401 on Wednesday, November 15 beginning at 12 PM where a Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM in the Taylor Chapel. A tribute can be found for Dan at
