I recently returned from my 15th national Jamboree being on staff I had fond memories when Dave and I were together in Scouting Events, including Jamboree`s.I agree with him and his belief that " 100 years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove. But the world may be different, because I was important in the life of a boy. " Dave will be Long remembered, and his influence in scouting in those whom he met was important to many young scouts and an influence for good. It was an Honor to be his friend. He will not, and has not been forgotten.Paul Kramer

I was deeply saddened when I learned today( 9/26/22) of Dave´s passing. He was a great scouting friend whom I worked in scouting with for over 60 years including jamborees and council activities. I believe he was the most decorated scouter in the Baltimore area council as well as in the United States. He was always willing to help and give his time and energy to Scouting and other worthwhile charitable endeavors. I urge his scouting friends and others to make a contribution in his name to the Baltimore area council which he loved and contributed so much over the many years. He will surely be missed but never forgotten.Paul Kramer

I had known Dave over 50 years through Scouting. Many years ago I worked with him on the District Committee. He was a very dedicated scouter, always willing to help and provide his wisdom and advice to others. My condolences go to his family.

Dave was a really special scout friend for me. We talked about scouting at district meetings, commissioner meetings, and Roundtables. He always had a stash of Werthers to hand out. He shared many of his files with me and I appreciated al he did for our district and scouting. I have missed him a lot during the COVID lockdowns. I am now living in PA and regret that I will not be able to come to the service. Dave was a very special man.
