It was always fun booking gigs for my band with Debbie. She was always fun to be around. She will be missed.

I just heard from my daughter that Debbie past away. I have not seen Debbie for just short of 21 years. We worked together at a photography studio, most of the time 12 hour days. She always made work such a pleasure. My family, Debbie, Paul and the boys would go out on their boat the La Dolce Vita. We always had such a good time. One time we were returning to the dock, a storm was coming and the water was very rough. The boat was bumping into the dock and we were worried it would be damaged. Paul was trying to get the boat in the slip, I was standing by to attach the ropes and Debbie appeared from within the boat and said, "Paul whose socks are these." We got the boat secured and Paul and I looked at each other and started to laugh. We laughed so hard, all of us, that are stomachs started to hurt. We regaled ourselves with that story many times afterwards and of course just laughed. Debbie never talked bad about anyone and was always in a good mood. Always so happy to see you. She loved and respected her parents, brothers, sister, and the boys. She was a good friend. I have not seen Debbie in 21 years and my heart is so sad. I did not know she was ill, I wish I had known. She was to me a very special friend and I am really happy I knew her. My heart goes out to her family and boys. I will never forget the great memories. Love you old friend.
