Donald Sears

Donald L. Sears, 63, a lifelong resident of Gambrills, died on February 18 at his residence. He was born in Annapolis on January 3, 1951 to the late Margaret E. and Roy S. Sears, Sr. Mr. Sears was the Vice President of the family business, Ray Sears & Sons, Inc. for 35 years and he was most recently a Project Manager for Elm Street Development, Inc. for nine years. He was a member of the Crofton Country Club, and his hobbies included golfing and hunting. In addition to his parents, Mr. Sears is preceded in death by his brother, Roy Sears Jr. Mr. Sears is survived by his wife of 41 years, Deborah Sears; son and daughter-in-law, Dustin L. and Michele of Millersville; son and daughter-in-law, Devin L. and Cori of Glen Burnie; son and daughter-in-law, Dane L. and Katie of Harrington, DE; daughter and son-in-law, Donielle L. and Heath Tomlin of Lynchburg, VA; two brothers, Raymond Sears of Lothian and Robert Sears of Annapolis; one sister, Diana Matlack of Felton, DE; and nine grandchildren, Daylan, Josephine, Colton, Brady, Logan, Addison, Paisley, Ethan, and Kinsley. Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, February 20, at the Stallings Funeral Home, P.A., where funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, February 21.
