I was adopted by the Slattery clan many years ago which gave me the opportunity to see Donna from time to time. This was after she began to suffer from the MS, but you wouldn’t know from cheerful demeanor she exhibited. Although I was unable to speak to Donna near the end of her struggle, I was able to tell her I loved her through her husband Matt.
Rest In Peace Friend, you earned it.

Dear Matt, Matthew and Pat,
When I learned of Donna's passing, I was heartbroken. I wish I had gotten one more chance to reminisce about all of our crazy experiences working at CEPS. I remember the first day I met Donna, it was my first day at CEPS, it was the day after the Christmas holiday and she was the only one there. I was immediately stunned by her beauty and thought "oh no, she's going to be a snob'. I quickly learned that nothing was further from the truth, she was the kindest, most down to earth person I ever met, I often wondered if she had any idea of beautiful she was. She taught me so much but it was her work ethic that was the most impressive, she never put in less than 100% and everything was perfect, for many years, people would say that if you didn't know how to do something, ask Donna. When she was diagnosed with MS, I was amazed at her bravery, she didn't let it get her down, at least she didn't show it. She fought through so much pain and discomfort but her work never suffered. We rode to work together, worked together and rode home together and I never tired of our conversations, we shared so many laughs and good times. She loved you guys SO MUCH but I'm sure you know that. My relationship with Donna is one of my most treasured friendships and I will miss her until the day I see her again in heaven. I'm so sorry for your loss.
Love,
Rose

I worked next to Donna in 1973-4 at NASM with Dr. El-Baz. She was a professional secretary from the start. I am so sorry for the family, however now she is out of pain. Love and blessings to Matt and sons. Mary Rakow Tanner

Donna I miss you so much! Even though you were my Aunt we were only 11 years apart and when we would go out, you would say "Don't call me Aunt Donna" lol. We had so many great memories! Hope you are remembering them and laughing! This is my favorite picture of you!

Donna was my sister-in-law and one of the kindest, gentlest and caring lady’s I have ever met. She was beautiful inside and out. My brother, Matt, picked it perfect when he chose Donna to be his wife. I am going to miss her with all my heart. Matt and Donna came to Florida to visit a lot of our family every so often, and I can tell you that is one couple I couldn’t wait to see and spend time with. My prare
with Matt, Little Matt, Pat, Nikki, Jaydan and Donna’s brother and sisters and their families. Rest in peace Donna!
