I did not know Mrs. Effie but I do know her sweet granddaughter Britte and she speaks of such admiration and awe of her grandmothers kind heart and gentle spirit! You know how sorry we are that you have lost the love of your life, Effie. And we think you know how much we will miss her as well. We will continue to remember all the good times we had together cruising and taking trips and having our breakfasts at McDonald's. We know that God will continue to be with her and you.

Meeting Effie in a quilting class brought us together . Having the friendship of Effie and Bill has been the most wonderful blessing in my life. Our three-some (6 if count hubbies) was a very special friendship. So many memories of our times together and all that McDonalds coffee we shared. My love and prayers to Bill and all the family. (Especially those cute little grands, who had the nerve to grow up and become wonderful adults).

Bill you are in our prayers. My heart goes out to you for the pain you are now feeling. Time does heal, I know because I have been where you are now. Effie was such a dear friend. I will miss our frequent telephone conversations. Our friendship of over 46 years will always be cherished.
