Elizabeth K. Fallin, "Ms. Elizabeth," a 45-year resident of Edgewater, died January 2 while in residence at South River Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born July 21, 1920 in Lovettsville, VA, Elizabeth worked at Safeway for 25 years. She was an active member of the Londontown Peppers (Senior) Club and a faithful member of the Living Word Bible Church in West River. Because of the giving and receiving of Christmas, it became her favorite time of year. Elizabeth was a generous and caring wife, mother and grandmother who loved to spend time with her family and was able to enjoy a family Christmas dinner and reunion just days before she died. In her spare time she loved to play bingo. Elizabeth is survived by her husband of 45 years, Albert I. Fallin; a son, Charles Heflin of FL; a daughter, Barbara Rinehart of NY; and three grandchildren. Friends are invited to Elizabeth's Life Celebration from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 5 at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, where a funeral service also will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, January 6. Interment private. Memorial donations may be made in Elizabeth's name to Living Word Bible Church, 5300 Chalk Point Rd., West River, MD 20778. An online guestbook is available at www.kalasfuneralhomes.com

Dear Al and Family:
Pam and I were saddened when we heard of Elizabeth's home-going. Saddened because we will miss a dear friend, but elated that we too shall see her again. May the grace of our Lord surround you, comfort and keep you. You both are and been for a long time our dear friends. Please know that though we are separated by many miles our hearts are with you right now. We will forever cherish the fond memories that we have shared as friends. Please call if we can do anything for you in the days ahead. Love in Christ Nidg & Pam
