Evelyn Reilly Obituary

Evelyn C. Reilly, 91, of Annapolis, died April 26, at her residence in Heritage Harbour.
Born August 21, 1917 in Portland, Maine to Earl L. and Clara M. Centeabar (nee Weggland). She spent most of her childhood in New York City, and was in the first graduating class of Roosevelt Hospital as a registered nurse.
Evelyn worked in the community, and as a nurse at Cheverly Hospital as well as in doctors offices. She was an active member of Heritage Harbour senior community.
She enjoyed her family and her friends,
Evelyn was predeceased by her husband of 37 years, William F. Reilly, Jr. and her son, William F. Reilly III, who was killed in Vietnam.
She is survived by three daughters, Gail Reilly Cross, Lynne A. Reilly and Karen R. Casteen; one son, Robert Carobrese; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A gathering will be held on Thursday from 7-9pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD 21037. A memorial mass will be offered on Friday, May 1, at 9:30am at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 620 N. Bestgate Rd., Annapolis, MD. A reception to follow. Interment will be private.
