Frank John Day

1938 - 2019

Frank John Day passed away after a lengthy illness at Southern Maryland Hospital on Monday, February 28,12019 surrounded by his family and friends. Born in Nyack, N.Y. June 27,1938 He entered the USAF and was a trained Jet mechanic, served in Okinowa Japan, and honorably discharged after 6 years at Andrews Air-Force Base. He then owned and operated American Truck Service in Landover Md.Frank will be greatly missed by his wife of 34 years Lisabeth(Beth)Daydaughters Tracy Titus, Robyn Poole,Jennifer Corson and son Frank Day, stepchildren Laura Kuzmindki, Kendra Hunt, and Michael Worrey. Frank had 15 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren and numerous exchange students over the years.He is also survived by and enjoyed spending time with his sister Diane Yagmur of Potomac, brothers Jim Day of Annapolis, Patrick Day of Delray Beach,Fl. and the companionship of his 2 dogs Bunker & BooBoo.
